Cheryl R. Babcock, CFE, has developed programs for, and worked with, franchise professionals in the U.S. and around the world. She is the founding director of Nova Southeastern University's International Institute for Franchise Education and a former Subway franchisee and field representative. She is a member of the original panel of experts in a monthly feature of Success magazine entitled Can This Business Be Franchised? She has been awarded the Edwin M. Appel prize from the Price-Babson College Fellows Program for bringing entrepreneurial vitality to academe and a recipient of the Free Enterprise Award from the International Franchise Association for the programming she developed in the Institute for Franchise Management at the University of St. Thomas.
