The International Institute for Franchise Education

About IIFE

Huizenga SchoolThe International Institute for Franchise Education (IIFE) is a demonstrated leader around the globe for our cutting-edge domestic and international education and leadership training programs for franchise executives. Programs are designed for start-up and emerging franchisors as well as founders, presidents, CEOs, COOs, and key leadership team members who want to grow their franchise systems. IIFE is the headquarters for the International Society of Franchising, comprised of educators and researchers from around the globe; and coordinates the annual conference. There are over 600 franchise research papers in our library that are available for purchase.

Participants in IIFE open-enrollment programs can earn up to 3,600 Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Education credits. Since IIFE’s inception in September 2002, participants have attended IIFE programs from 39 states and 22 countries.

IIFE also provides in-house training programs designed for your corporate staff, field personnel or franchisees. Each system is unique, and we carefully analyze each franchise system's needs. We take a fresh approach each time in matching your needs with our extensive resources and custom design a program from several days to week-long certificate courses that are tailored to fit your needs. IIFE has worked with Burger King Corporation and Two Men And A Truck International on in-house programs, and we will be happy to work with you on a program for your franchise or distribution system.

IIFE is recognized globally as a premier source of innovative, performance-based interactive franchise educational programs and training. Since 2002, IIFE has conducted an annual program in the Philippines for the Philippine Franchise Association; IIFE has conducted several programs utilizing simultaneous translation for the Mexican Franchise Association, and we’ll begin a series of programs for Sripatum University in Thailand in 2010. We are ready to work with you on custom-designing a program.
