INB 3550 - International Business


I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
Surveys the legal and cultural environment of international business; the international financial system; management of international operations; personnel and labor relations; international marketing; international economics, trade, and finance; multinational enterprise; and international accounting. Prerequisite: ECN 2025.

II. PREREQUISITES
( ECN 2025 OR ECON 2025 OR ECON 2010 )

III. LEARNING OUTCOMES
1)        Know much of the vocabulary of international business.
2)        Know the principal international organizations and their impact on business.
3)        Know the size and scope of foreign investment and international trade.
4)        Have examined the ten sets of uncontrollable environmental forces.
5)        Know how the functional areas of the firm cope with the uncontrollable environmental forces.
