ISM 5103 - Computer Technology Skills


I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to enhance students' competence with business-related software as well as the Internet. Functional exercises are done utilizing spreadsheets, databases, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Web page development. This course is a mandatory requirement for the day M.B.A. program. This course consists of eight 2-hour sessions in the lab and is held during the first term.

Not required

III. LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the eight sessions, students will have increased confidence in their abilities to manipulate data using the common office computer programs. Although level of proficiency will vary widely, all students will possess the basic tools for building the functional computer skills expected in today¿s business environment.
