ACTP 5711 - Internet Technology


I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
A one-week course in utilizing the Internet for classroom purposes, research, (including the use of the library), and other skills needed to successfully complete the online graduate accounting program. Required for any student taking a course online in the MACC or MTAX programs.

II. PREREQUISITES
Not required

III. LEARNING OUTCOMES
1)        Demonstrate proficiency using standard business application software.
2)        Prepare students to submit standardized documents to faculty.
3)        Prepare students to use the electronic library.
4)        Prepare students to navigate and participate in a chat session.
5)        Be familiar with the Microsoft Office 97 or 2000 Professional software package.
6)        Save and retrieve documents in Microsoft Office.
7)        Create attachments through e-mail.
8)        Be able to navigate through and do research using NSU's Electronic Library.
