A. Course Objectives1) To develop an understanding of the environment surrounding international finance and investment including the foreign exchange markets.
2) To explore global investment opportunities for U.S. investors, and to analyze the growing importance of international finance in the movement of goods and services across national boundaries and economic growth.
3) To familiarize students with the objectives, operations, and role of multilateral financial organizations.
4) To develop the conceptual framework and skills required of executives with financial strategy responsibilities in the multinational corporate context.
5) To enhance analytical skills and to further develop oral and written communication skills.
