HSBE Transition to Blackboard

Nova Southeastern University is committed to providing students with optimal technology for online learning. With this commitment in mind, HSBE has moved its online courses from WebCT to Blackboard.
All Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral students who are registered for an online course will be using Blackboard to complete online coursework. Even if you are not currently registered for an online course, your face-to-face classes may utilize the Blackboard system for web-based components, such as discussion boards or assignment submissions.
The university has set up a Blackboard Help Desk web page, which offers a variety of interactive tutorials for using Blackboard resources, such as taking a test, checking your grades, creating a discussion board post, submitting an assignment, and sending an email to your professor. We encourage you to explore the tutorials as a way to familiarize yourself with Blackboard and to see how web-based courses are conducted.

How to Access Courses

To access Blackboard, you must login to Sharklearn.nova.edu. Your username and password is the same one used previously used to access your WebCT course(s). Upon entering the system click on the “Courses” tab. You will then see a list of courses that you are enrolled in. Click on the course link to enter.

For more information, visit the Blackboard Help Desk page, or contact the Help Desk by phone at (954) 262-HELP or 800-541-NOVA, or by email at help@nova.edu.
