On Saturday, May 10, 2008, the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, and the Fischler School of Education and Human Services will jointly hold 2008 Undergraduate Commencement Exercises. Commencement recognizes and celebrates undergraduate students' successful completion of their academic programs. Participation in commencement does not guarantee that a student has graduated, nor is it a graduation requirement. However, many students—as well as their families and friends—look forward to the ceremony as a rite of passage bridging school and career. |

Graduating seniors planning to participate in commencement should complete the Commencement Participation Form mailed to them from the Office of the University Registrar. Both parts of the form must be returned to the NSU Bookstore in the envelope provided, along with a nonrefundable fee to cover cap and gown expenses and use of the BankAtlantic Center. The envelope must be postmarked by Sunday, April 6th, 2008. Faxed forms will not be accepted. Note that the commencement participation fee does not cover the degree (diploma) application fee. Final instructions regarding graduation will be mailed about two weeks prior to the ceremony to those graduating seniors who submit participation forms and payment postmarked by Sunday, April 6th, 2008. |
