Dr. Baiyun Gong

Dr. Baiyun Gong is an Assistant Professor of Management at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Gong’s research interests include temporal research, focusing on the effects of interruptions in organizations, organizational cognition, focusing on the construct of transactive memory, and social capital in international business, focusing on the evolution of guanxi.
Dr. Gong was an Academy of Management Doctoral Consortium Fellow in 2004 and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society in 2007. She is a member of the Academy of Management.
