Dr. Michael Bendixen

Dr. Bendixen is Professor of Research Methodology and Chair of Research Methods and Decision Sciences at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Nova Southeastern University. Before joining NSU in 2004, he was professor at the Wits Business School, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa where he held positions as Assistant Dean (Research) for the Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management. He is currently a visiting professor at the Wits Business School. Dr. Bendixen has extensive experience at supervising dissertations at both masters and doctoral level as well as teaching research methodology, statistics, business forecasting, operations management and organizational culture. His current research interests are in the field of contact center performance, virtual organizations and outsourcing.

Dr. Bendixen is an experienced consultant in the practical application of quantitative techniques, particularly in the service industries.

Dr. Bendixen was recipient of the 2008 "Faculty of the Year" award.
