I am a dedicated and outgoing educator with an incredibly strong passion for teaching and assisting students in achieving their maximum intellectual potential!
I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Accounting, maintaining a perfect 4.0 and being highly involved in the academic and athletic communities. I went on to receive my Masters of Accounting after completion of an Audit Internship with Ernst & Young, during which time I completed a thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility and taught Financial Accounting Sections containing hundreds of students.
After graduate school, I sat for my Certification in Public Accounting. Of the four sections comprising this exam, I received perfect scores on three: Financial Accounting, Tax and Regulation, and Auditing. I was then honored to receive notice that I had won an Elijah Watt Sells Award for 2007, acknowledging the Top Ten scores on the CPA Examination in the country, out of over 50,000 candidates.
I am currently working towards my PhD in Accounting, focusing on Auditing, Ethics, and Corporate Social Responsibility at FIU and teaching Accounting courses at the wonderful NSU!
