Dr. Charles Collver

Charles Collver is Assistant Professor of Finance at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. He teaches Applying Managerial Finance and Futures and Options in the MBA program, and, seminars in Corporate Finance Theory and Market Microstructure in the Doctoral program. He is currently the lead faculty member for Applying Managerial Finance, Markets and Institutions and Futures and Options. He has been a faculty member since 2001.
Collver's research focuses on applied market microstructure, high-frequency security market data and financial econometrics. He has published in the Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Corporate Finance and Financial Review. His latest conference presentation was at the Financial Economics Institute at Claremont McKenna College. Recent research was funded by an NSU President's Faculty Research and Development Grant.
Collver earned a bachelor's of science degree in 1986 and an MBA in 1997. He earned his PhD in Finance from Syracuse University in 2001. While at Syracuse, he earned the Teaching Associate designation in recognition of teaching excellence.
