Cheryl R. Babcock, CFE, teaches undergraduate courses in Franchise Management, Small Business Management, Entrepreneurial Opportunities & Analysis, Running Your Business, and Maturing Businesses.

She received the 2019 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. She is the Director of the Razor's Edge Shark Cage Scholars Program, a premier scholarship program for students who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial potential. She presently oversees 42 students in the program.

She works with students in developing on-campus, student-run businesses. During 2019-2020, she oversaw the operations of 20 student-run, on-campus businesses and conducted 17 Grand Openings. She identified the optimal four-year curricular and co-curricular requirements; attends weekly logistical and leadership council meetings; developed a student-interview questionnaire and rubric for evaluating potential students; an elevator pitch rubric, Shark Pitch rubric, and Shark Funding Pitch rubric to evaluate students on their business ideas.

She also oversees the internship program for the Entrepreneurship Department.
