Dr. Phil Fazio is a finance professor who specializes in corporate and investment finance.

Phil earned designations as a Certified Financial Planning™ designation which informs his individual financial planning, and a CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) which he also uses daily in the wealth management practice.

He is past chair of the CIMA® certification commission, which is the educational standards committee for the Investment and Wealth Institute. He is also the past chair of the CFP® board’s examination commission. Dr. Fazio is a long-time volunteer with the CFP Board of Standards, and teaches in a CFP registered education program.

Dr. Fazio had a significant career in corporate banking in Chicago and Miami, which brings real life experience to his teaching of corporate finance.

Lastly, he is on the editorial board for the Investment and Wealth Monitor and the Journal of Investment Consulting. Both are publications of the Investment and Wealth Institute.
