Dr. Dan Lufkin has dedicated the last 20 years to leadership roles in higher education, currently serving as the campus president at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas. Alongside this role, he holds a position as an adjunct professor in the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Lufkin's teaching experience spans various institutions, including Texas Christian University, the University of Arizona Global Campus, and Northern Arizona University.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Lufkin has served on dissertation committees, actively contributing to the academic development of students. Beyond his institutional roles, he engages in leadership on various state, local, and national boards, focusing on workforce development, student success, and higher education policy. He is a proud member of the Higher Education Research and Development Institute (HERDI) South, the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), and serves as an On-site reaffirmation of accreditation evaluator for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools – Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

As a leader in higher education, Dr. Lufkin takes pleasure in delivering presentations at national conferences. Motivated by a profound commitment to disseminate his expertise and leadership experiences, he has been engaged in instructional endeavors, encompassing both in-person and online modalities, since the year 2008.
