Business Minor

If you want to prepare for jobs in business and industry or are interested in pursuing a graduate degree program in business, this minor is for you. Courses delve into the fundamentals of marketing, management, and entrepreneurship, empowering you to cultivate a holistic understanding of modern business practices. Upon completion, you will have gained a versatile skill set that will help you to confidently navigate the complexities of today's global marketplace.

M.B.A. Track (18 credits):

ACT 2031 Foundations of Financial Accounting* 3 credits
ECN 2020 Principles of Microeconomics* 3 credits
FIN 3010 Corporation Finance* 3 credits
MATH 2020 Applied Statistics* 3 credits
MGT 2050 Principles of Management* 3 credits
MKT 3050 Marketing Principles and Application* 3 credits

Generalist Track (15 credits):

Select five courses from any of the following prefixes:
ACT, ECN, ENT, FIN, HRM, INB, ISM, LED, MGT, MKT, OPS, PADM, QNT, REE, SPT

*Students pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at NSU must earn a grade of C or higher
